The J Family

Now this is one good looking family! Rachel has been one of my good friends for quite sometime. When we both lived in Lincoln while we were in school we actually spent one summer sharing a farmers market booth. She is fantastic, a wonderfully artsy individual who I envy for all of her great talents! Her family is just as wonderful! First, I'm always impressed when little boys do well in photo shoots. We had lots of great smiles, and very few bribes from mom to keep them in a good mood :)  I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their family for a Christmas card. We had a wonderful day at the park, I wouldn't even call it work!

The S Family

This was the final of four shoots I had on Saturday, and what I great way to end the day! Often I have a lot of smaller children in my sessions, and I was surprised to see how perfectly this family took my instructions! I didn't have to wave my arms around to get their attention...and a good thing to since I was exhausted!  I was so surprised and in awe of how well this brother/sister team did! They were nice to each other, never fought...nothing like my sister and me growing up. Also, loved the outfit choices...talk about awesome fall colors!

K Maternity

So excited that Kelly is going to have her little girl any day now. It was such a beautiful day at the park, and I couldn't believe how relaxed she was during our entire session.  Her due date is this week, so I'm glad she made it to our session. We walked up and down the park taking pictures, and even though we had to move a little slower, we still were able to get so many wonderful pictures in.  Looking forward to seeing her little girl during our newborn session!

The C Family

Christmas card photos anyone?! These girls were just too precious! I love to see sisters so close in age, as it reminds me of my sister and me growing up. These girls were too cute, and they came all the way from Lincoln just to see me :) Well...and the grandparents.  This family was just picture perfect, and full of giggles.

L Family

The L Family was so much fun to meet! Two of these girls had my mother as an elementary school teacher, and I'd heard so much about them! I was taken aback when the middle child hopped out of the car and announced "You look just like your mother". (just what every girl wants to hear!) But I didn't hold that against her. They were full of energy, and did such a wonderful job with their little sister, even when she was ready for a nap.  Just gorgeous!

The F Family

This couple was so much fun!! They are new to Omaha, and moved here this summer after getting married. He is a new professor in town, and they both are taking it upon themselves to explore the glories of Omaha. She is a very good, very popular blogger. Check her out here:  http://girlgoneveggie.com/ I've lived here off and on for 20 years, and in a few short months she has found so many neat Omaha places I didn't even know existed! Her blog will be doing a giveaway soon for a free photo session with me! So make sure to check her out. They are just precious right?! What a fun couple. Looking forward to meeting up with her again at a blogging event!

Baby H & Mommy

This was one proud mommy, and for good reason! She has one of the cutest little guys I've ever seen. Baby H was full of laughs, even though the temperature was low, he stuck it out like a trooper! I've known Baby H's mother for many many years, and I loved getting to spend time with her and her new boy.

The N Family

This was one of my most fun sessions. Why you ask? Well because it was so spur of the moment. We had some scheduling issues so the client was trying to reschedule her session and we decided to go ahead and meet up 20 minutes later! It worked out great. Plus, this little girl was full of fun things to tell me, such a talker!

A & C Engagement

A&C are some of my favorite people. "A" (the female in the photo) went to law school with me and I was just so thrilled when they got engaged. These two are true dog lovers, insisting on having their dog in engagement photos. He was such a trooper :) We did these photos on East Campus, where A and I spent the majority of our time the last 3 years.  Looking forward to their wedding next year!
