The F Family

This couple was so much fun!! They are new to Omaha, and moved here this summer after getting married. He is a new professor in town, and they both are taking it upon themselves to explore the glories of Omaha.

She is a very good, very popular blogger. Check her out here: http://girlgoneveggie.com/
I've lived here off and on for 20 years, and in a few short months she has found so many neat Omaha places I didn't even know existed!

Her blog will be doing a giveaway soon for a free photo session with me! So make sure to check her out.

They are just precious right?! What a fun couple. Looking forward to meeting up with her again at a blogging event!

Baby J

Baby J was welcomed into our studio this winter, and what a doll she is! We loved capturing her with specifically "no pink" per her daddy's request!

Zavier- 1 year

This weekend was the last of Zavier's photos for his first year! I've been photographing this little guy every couple months since he was in his mommy's tummy....and it has been so fun to watch him grow! The basketball themed photo shoot this weekend was the perfect way to celebrate turning one year old!

As you may know, I don't have little humans running around our place, so I decided to use my favorite subjects...our too cats! Meet Lady Grey and Gallifrey!  Here are a few useful tips to learn to take better cell phone photos of your little ones!  Try different angles. Get down to their level, make them look all the way up at you. Try something new! You don't always need to just take a photo straight on!  Face them towards a light. If possible use natural light. Phones aren't great with backlighting, that is sitting a subject we're behind them is your primary light source. Photographers can shoot directly into the sun, phone's not so much. Try placing them towards a window or opening the front door.  (left photo with the light behind Lady Grey, right photo where she is looking at the window)  ...
