Lady Grey Photography

Averie and I go waaayyy back. Like back when her momma was telling me all about how she couldn't wait to have kids (while we were still in law school and my mind could only focus on getting through finals!). We loved having Averie at our home studio this weekend, and she was the perfect model to test out some of our brand new backdrops! 

My very first photo shoot of Baby Z...he was still in his mommy's tummy! (you can see that session here ) We had another session shortly after he was born (see here)  and we had a super fun Christmas session at his family's new home this December! (see here ) It has been such a pleasure watching this little guy grow up! This weekend we went just across a pond to his grandparent's home to take photos for his 9 month pictures. So much has changed since I saw him 3 short months ago! He is standing...and even more fun...scooting like crazy! He scoots faster than most babies crawl! 

I've been watching Alice grow for over a year now, taking photos every 6 months! This session was my favorite, because she has really grown into such a beautiful personality! Also...let's talk about how much I LOVE toddler photos with a hat! 

One of my favorite gigs as a photographer is working for Omaha Performing Arts! That means I'm hired to do anything from photographing performing artists (like Kristin Chenoweth), to their weekly Jazz on the Green performances in the summer, to awesome events like classes with performers! This was one of those classes were performers from the Harlem Ballet came to teach classes the week of their performance.  Truth, this was my first time photographing ballet, and I had a very close call almost being kicked in the head by a dancer! 

It was hard for me to believe that Mr. Joseph here was already 6 months old! It was a few short months ago I was meeting him for the first time for his newborn session! This kiddo was all smiles and fun for his session! I think he could tell it was special mommy time, since his siblings got to stay at home this session. The A Family came to me to have a family session combined with their youngest son's 18 month session! We had a great time at the park on one of the most beautiful February days we could have hoped for!
