The S Family

Oh boy, am I excited to tell you about the S family! I grew up playing with these girls, their oldest and I were absolute inseparable. They are crazy, creative, outdoorsy and all around wonderful people. It was so wonderful seeing them after so many years, and was thrilled to hear they wanted to take updated photos while everyone was in from out of state! Can't wait to hear all the wonderful things the S family will be doing in the future!

The H Family

It's my favorite time of year, which means snowy winter photos! The H family planned a session with me between Christmas and New Years, because who has the time to do family photos before Christmas! They were such a great group, and I know everyone was so glad to have their oldest home from college! We had a great sunrise session, and the colors were beautiful!

Baby J

I met Baby J for the first time at the hospital on the day he was born! His mom was a client of mine that did maternity photos a few months back, and I was so excited to receive the call that he was born and ready for his photo shoot! We did photos in the hospital that day, then he returned to me the next week for his newborn pictures! We loved the holiday theme, since he was born just before Christmas! What a cutie!

K Family

The K family contacted me for a newborn session for their new little guy! Boy this little kid was sweet, and I loved seeing his older brother interact with him! I also particularly loved that his mom had a quilt that we used in the photos! Personal touches that my clients bring to the session are so much fun, because it has an extra special meaning to them!

Snapshot of Your Photographer #3

I'm trying to make it a point to take more photos of the everyday. We are in our second year of marriage, and I love all the time we get to spend together. I hope it never changes, but I know it will. Someday our family will grow, things will get busier, will move to a new place and I want to take photos of the basics of everyday life this year.  This was yesterday after work. Our boxes behind the couch are being packed up to take Christmas gifts to Kevin's family in Colorado. We were in the middle of watching a Christmas movie, which we do each night in December. This time it was one of those claymation movies...which in my opinion...there are way too many of those out there!  This is our place, about 50% of our cozy 1 bedroom apartment is shown in this photo. The back is our work space where we take turns working on our computer, Kevin with his graphic design, and me with photo editing.  Lady Grey is off hiding somewhere in this photo, but you can see the con

Baby S

This little guy basically stole my heart! He was born early, so while we were taking his 1 month photos, he still looked like he was straight out of the shoot! So little. I have to say, I've never had a baby session quite like his. Not one...single...tear. No crying, and he was awake for a good half of the session. No needing to be fed, just one super happy kid!

First Christmas

Loved this couple's idea of a photo shoot for their first Christmas together! They've been married just a few months, and had lots of great ideas for their Christmas mini session! It was a bitter cold, windy day...but the photos turned out great and I know they were glad to have put up with the chilly weather!  \

Baby E- 7 months

I had the pleasure of walking around the mall Black Friday shopping with Baby E and her mom before her session, and I learned from all the stranger's comments that I'm not biased...this girl is one of the cutest little girls EVER!! We came home to have a mini session for her 7 month birthday and she was a riot. We worked so hard trying to get her to smile, but we'd kept her up too long shopping...that she refused to give us a full blown smile...still...she is just precious!
