Lady Grey Photography

This guy is almost 2 years old! I met him and his parents in downtown Omaha for an exciting evening session! This little guy's red hair is just beautiful, and he was such a trooper! At the end of the session he was given a great big chocolate ice cream cone. Thanks to a change of clothes packed in the car, he was able to eat it just how he wanted...and got extra messy doing it!

I love taking Senior photos because there is something so exciting about hearing what these teenagers plan to do with the rest of their lives. Its such a big year for them, and they have some many big dreams to share! Sara was a wonderful client, who has big college plans after graduation! We had a blast in the Old Market, walking around and taking some great shots. The whole 2 hours was full of laughing, chatting, and lots of beautiful smiles!  Best of luck to you this next year Sara! 

This sweet little guy was just 8 years old when we had his little photo session! He slept almost the entire session, and was such a little cutie! The perfect little angel!

Somebody is turning 2 years old! This guy had his 2 year photo shoot with me this weekend, and he was a treat. I did family photos with him at the end of last year, and he was pretty shy at that time. However, during this session he was a little chatter box and so much fun! We picked berries, watched some tennis and smiled at the dogs that passed by.  Happy Birthday Evan! 

My cousin and her beautiful baby boy came to visit us this week. He is just precious, and probably the most calm little guy I've ever met. He has a full head of dark brown hair, and is just beautiful. Yes, I'm a bit biased when it comes to my family, but this little guy is just a sweetie. He loves cuddling and even smiling on occasion. 

I have the pleasure of working once a month with a number of families at the Assure Women's Center here in Omaha. I volunteer as a photographer, and provide baby photos for those families who are taking classes at the center. I love babies, so this just the perfect job for me! These two little ones were so precious last week, and just had to share a couple from their sessions.  As a photographer, I love the chance to share my talents with others! I've enjoyed working with a number of non-profit and volunteer organizations whose goal is to help others! If I could do this all the time, I certainly would! 

If you've had a session with me, you may have noticed my mustard yellow camera bag (disguised as a purse). It was a gift from my now husband when we were dating. I love that thing, and I take it with me everywhere! Clients that have never met me I usually say look for the large mustard bag, and you've probably got the right person! I love having a camera bag purse, as it looks cute, holds lots of stuff and protects my gear with padded dividers.  So whats in this yellow bag? Well let me pull it all out and show you!  2 Camera bodies - You don't have to have 2, but I usually do. Its great to have a backup, and better yet I love keeping 2 difference lenses on the cameras, so I don't have to stop and switch lenses. The photo shows only one because I was using my 2nd to take the photo :)  Backup Batteries - My spare batteries are all off brand from amazon. Usually half the price for twice as many batteries! This weekend I had the pleasure of taking a little trip to Lincoln for a photo shoot. This family was just wonderful, and brought me to Lincoln to take photos for their parent's 50th anniversary! We got in plenty of photos with the grandkids and family!  What a great looking family, and what a fun way to celebrate something so special! 

I just love babies! The B family had me over to their home to take some 1 week photos of the newest addition to their family! First of all, this sweet little girl is such precious! Second, I absolutely love seeing her 2 siblings as well! When a family is having fun and comfortable with me, it makes my job so easy and I love how great this family does in their photo sessions!  

Our trip to Nashville last week was for this lovely couple's wedding. These two had a beautiful intimate wedding in Tennessee, and braved to heat for some awesome outdoor photos. From the vintage dress, to the beautiful flowers, everything was just perfect! We loved meeting the bride and groom for the first time on the day of their wedding, and are so glad they asked us to celebrate with them on their special day! 

One of my favorite things about being a photographer, is traveling to meet new people! We had an awesome trip to Nashville this weekend, and met a number of wonderful people. The C Family had a photo session at Centennial Park, which was just gorgeous. This sweet little 3 year old sang songs from Frozen to us and kept herself very entertained and well behaved the whole time. A beautiful family, inside and out!
